SPANNER SCHOOL VISITS! 

Summer is officially over and it’s back to school!

We hope you all had fun in the sun, enjoyed reading about Hannah’s adventures at bedtime and experienced some adventures of your own. Now it’s time to get back into your school routine groove and to make it even more exciting, Stuart or Bill can visit your school!

Recently, Bill visited Cobham Primary School and the kids had a great time coming up with ideas where they would hide from Mr Bumbags if they were the bear, brainstorming even more thrilling adventures for Hannah and loved watching our animated trailer narrated by the brilliant Dawn French.

We received lovely feedback from the headteacher Jacqui Saunders “The assembly was fun, fun, fun and the children loved the illustrations being brought to life before their very eyes! I have seen more children drawing at playtimes today than ever before. Excellent way to inspire budding illustrators!”

Bill also visited Park Way Primary School and was handed a lovely drawing by Phoebe!

Stuart has visited a range of schools from the British School of Amsterdam to St Christopher’s and St Peters. The British School of Amsterdam sent us a great message about the visit: “The children have learnt how Stuart created the books after telling bedtime stories to his daughters, who are the inspiration for these and future books. The children were amazed by the sessions and have been coming up with new stories and characters for the series. These books and its author are both highly recommended”.

We can organise activities for big or small groups, simply read the book to the children, tell them about Hannah’s adventures and answer all their burning questions! We are flexible and open to ideas to ensure everyone will enjoy and learn from the visit. Our aim is to inspire more children to draw and write stories, to make reading fun and to learn more about what it is like being an author or an illustrator.
